Payment Terms

• Depending on the service selected, full or partial payment may be required before work begins.
• Clients will receive electronic confirmation upon successful payment.
• Services requiring individualized pricing (based on complexity, location, or urgency) will be reviewed by By Mike LLC and quoted before payment is requested.

No Guarantee of Outcome

Payment made to By Mike LLC purchases the agreed professional service — it does not guarantee a specific result. Specifically:

• Process Serving: Fees cover the agreed number of service attempts and related work (research, travel, filing of proof of service, etc.). They do not guarantee that the subject will be successfully served, as service can be affected by factors outside our control (e.g., evasion, incorrect address provided by client).
• Skip Tracing: Fees cover research time and effort using available databases and resources. They do not guarantee that specific information about a subject will be located, as availability of records varies by case.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information (names, addresses, case numbers, documents) needed to perform the assignment
• Notifying By Mike LLC promptly of any changes to case details
• Ensuring documents provided for service are accurate, complete, and legally valid

Rush & Same-Day Services

Rush and Same-Day Priority assignments are subject to availability and may carry additional fees. Once accepted and work has begun, these assignments may become nonrefundable due to the immediate allocation of resources.

Limitation of Liability

By Mike LLC is not responsible for outcomes resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to a subject’s refusal or evasion of service, inaccurate information provided by the client, or unavailability of public records. Our liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Confidentiality

All case information is treated as confidential and used only for purposes related to the requested service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state in which By Mike LLC operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
